Verre Demain

“Verre Demain” is the transformation strategy of the CEVINO GLASS group. It guides our development, our collective ambition and our commitments as we build sustainable, responsible and high-performing growth. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is one of the pillars of this strategy.

Thierry Gautier, President and Founder of CEVINO GLASS, introduces Verre Demain to the group’s employees and partners.

Glass sits at the heart of tomorrow’s challenges: energy-saving renovation, comfortable habitat in all seasons, low-carbon construction, and circular economy. Infinitely recyclable and a natural vector of light, glass is a material of the future. Through Verre Demain, CEVINO GLASS sets out a global, collective and responsible strategy to support these transformations.

Our Verre Demain Strategy

OUR PURPOSE

Be the most trusted partner, passionate glass expert, caring for each other and our planet, for whom performance rhymes with well-being.

OUR AMBITION

Verre Demain embodies a shared vision for every company across the group:

  • To become Europe’s benchmark glass processor and installer
  • To offer a complete solution through a distinctive, solutions-driven approach carried by every employee: every customer who walks through the door of a CEVINO GLASS company leaves with ONE solution
  • To pursue profitable, sustainable growth in Europe
  • To become a benchmark on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and our sector’s employer of choice

This ambition is underpinned by a committed, agile and structured collective.

OUR VALUES

Simple and balanced relationships

We are committed to fostering an environment where everyone can thrive and communicate authentically, within an ecosystem of trust where every voice can be heard freely. We place solidarity and individual responsibility at the heart of our everyday conduct. Every relationship is built on the same foundation of respect.

Building together

Autonomy is actively encouraged, and everyone is invited to propose improvements or adjustments that help the collective rise to the challenges of glass. Agility, and a recognised right to make mistakes, foster ownership, momentum and, in turn, performance. Every member of the CEVINO GLASS group plays a part in this shared journey.

Operational excellence in the service of our clients

Attentive to our customers, we offer each one a fair, tailored solution backed by our technical mastery and unique know-how. True to our commitments, we deliver quality, short lead times, responsiveness and service. We invest in and maintain our equipment to the highest industry standards. This commitment to performance underpins strong, lasting relationships. Our customers’ satisfaction drives our own.

Integrity at the heart of our practices

When advising a customer, we remain clear and sincere at every stage, in order to build a lasting relationship of trust. This means offering well-reasoned advice and straightforward feedback — even when that means declining a request. This right to say no is what allows us to remain true to our principles.

Innovation, a driver of our sustainable development

CEVINO GLASS continuously innovates, invests and researches new products and services for its customers, paying particular attention to their environmental impact. Driven by curiosity, we are not afraid to test new approaches in order to keep improving, and we invest in training to rise to our ambitions and to the challenges facing the glass industry.

2

Our CSR approach

Our Corporate Social Responsibility policy is driven by a deep-rooted conviction, shaped by our strong human culture, our day-to-day commitment, and the sustainable material we work with.

We have structured this momentum at group level, led by our cross-functional CSR Steering Committee, by:

  • jointly formalising a shared purpose;
  • bringing all subsidiaries together around a common ambition;
  • co-authoring a CSR roadmap integrated into the Verre Demain strategy.

CSR is one of the strategic pillars of Verre Demain.

3

Our CSR commitments

Our concrete commitments and actions are set out in our roadmap.

There can be no CSR approach without a roadmap.

Our roadmap is a structured action plan that turns our commitments into operational initiatives and actions that are measurable, and measured, over time. Our commitments are derived from the sustainable development objectives of the ISO 26000 standard.

COMMITMENT: Improving Our Environmental Performance

Objective: reduce our carbon footprint and improve the circularity of glass.

  • 80% of the group’s scope covered by the carbon footprint assessment, with 35,000 tCO2e analysed
  • 100% of glass offcuts recovered and given a second life
  • 1,350 tCO2e avoided through cullet return
  • Up to 60% water savings achieved at certain sites

Cullet (pictured right) is glass finely crushed and cleaned so it can be reinjected as a secondary raw material into flat-glass manufacturing furnaces — the beginning of a circular economy.

  • Our 2024 carbon footprint assessment covered 80% of the group’s scope and measured our carbon emissions across Scopes 1, 2 and 3: 35,000 tonnes of CO2 equivalent, or 715 kg CO2e per €k of revenue.

  • 70% of our carbon emissions are linked to our raw material. This is why we are focusing our efforts on limiting production offcuts and recovering end-of-life glass.

  • 100% of our production offcuts are sorted and recovered.

  • We have signed an agreement with a partner flat-glass (Float) manufacturer to improve the circularity of flat glass. The increase in cullet return has reduced the carbon emission rate of our manufacturing process and avoided 1,350 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e) in 2024 — equivalent to 4% of our emissions.

  • Our sustainable water management: water circulates in a closed loop across our workshops (Miroiteries Dubrulle, Le Kap Verre Île-de-France, Littoral, Côte d’Opale, BMV Glass, Lukora, and others). The group has invested significantly in installing these systems.
A few figures: at Le Kap Verre Littoral, rainwater collection has brought water consumption to close to zero. At Lukora, the installation of water recovery and treatment equipment for the grinding process has reduced the workshop’s water consumption by 60% — from 10,000 m³ to under 4,000 m³.

  • We recover end-of-life products, such as window frames and old double-glazed units removed by our installation teams, through our membership of Valobat.

  • Non-hazardous industrial waste is sorted, and our processes are designed to minimise it as far as possible.

  • Our commercial offering is geared towards low-carbon, high-energy-performance glass (low-emissivity and/or solar-control double glazing) to improve buildings’ carbon performance.

  • Across our various sites, our actions are aimed at conserving energy: self-consumption through solar panels at Lukora and Miroiterie Paulhac; LED lighting installed across almost all sites; smart heating-system management; and trucks running on liquefied natural gas.

COMMITMENT: Engaging Employees Across All Companies

Objective: build a coherent, engaged and aligned group.

  • Each company has its own CSR roadmap, and the CSR Steering Committee ensures coordination across the group.
  • A CSR ambassador programme has been established with employee volunteers.
  • An annual employee barometer survey measures employee wellbeing at work.
  • KIOSK, our internal newsletter, is published every two months to share group news.
  • We champion « Building Together as a Group, » in line with our value of « doing business together. »
  • The monthly CSR Steering Committee drives and monitors the group’s core roadmap and sets its direction.

  • Each group company operates its own CSR roadmap.

  • Since early 2026, volunteer CSR ambassadors have been driving our CSR approach and championing local initiatives. This ambassador programme, launched with the “Climate Fresk” workshop, aims to progressively train ambassadors and support their initiatives.

  • Employees have taken an active role, notably by appearing in videos presenting our five values, bringing Verre Demain to life in a vivid, authentic way at every site.

  • Cross-site professional committees, created in 2025, bring together employees who share the same role across different sites — Accounting & Finance / Sales / Production / Installation, and more. These connections allow colleagues to get to know one another and share expertise and best practice, driving performance across the group.

  • An annual employee barometer survey is conducted group-wide to measure employee wellbeing at work.
  • KIOSK, our internal newsletter, is published every two months to share news from the group and its companies (events, centenaries, achievements, and more). A printed “gazette” edition now complements the current digital distribution. Company LinkedIn accounts are increasingly fed and managed by volunteer employees, who are glad to share their stories.

  • We champion « Building Together as a Group, » adding a collective dimension to our value of « doing business together » while respecting the specific identity of each company.

  • Whenever a new company joins the CEVINO GLASS group, an « onboarding » programme is put in place.

COMMITMENT: Well-being and quality of life at work

Objective: guarantee a safe, ethical working environment that supports everyone’s development.

  • Building unity and connection around celebratory moments such as company anniversaries: the centenaries of Miroiterie Paulhac and Miroiteries Dubrulle, and Le Kap Verre’s 30th anniversary, among others.
  • Expanding Quality of Life at Work (QVT) initiatives tailored to local realities across our subsidiaries.
  • Committing to a code of ethics for employees.
  • Strengthening safety prevention and workshop induction procedures: safety, instructions, equipment, MASE certification, risk assessments, and more.
  • Developing skills: mentoring, coaching and peer support between company managers, along with training, including eco-driving.
  • Celebrating together the milestones that matter: Miroiterie Paulhac’s centenary in October 2025, Miroiteries Dubrulle’s in June 2026, Lukora’s 130th anniversary and Le Kap Verre’s 30th anniversary at the end of 2026.

  • Committing to a code of ethics for employees, in line with our value of integrity at the heart of our practices.

  • Expanding Quality of Life at Work (QVT) initiatives tailored to local realities across our subsidiaries:
    • Nutritional breakfasts
    • Posture and movement coaching with an ergonomics specialist and/or sports coach
    • Moments of shared conviviality

  • Strengthening safety prevention, risk assessment, equipment and training:
    • Workshop induction procedures: safety, instructions, equipment
    • Handling equipment available at every site to facilitate the transport of glass: robots and suction-cup lifting beams, handling equipment for cutting tables and grinding centres.
    • In addition to personal protective equipment (gloves, helmets, cut-resistant fabric, and more), which is particularly important in our trades, workshop noise-level assessments have led us to progressively roll out custom-moulded individual hearing protection (Miroiteries Dubrulle, Lukora, Le Kap Verre Littoral, and others).

  • Equipping every site with defibrillators.

  • Extending MASE health, safety and environment certification, currently held by Le Kap Verre Dunkerque.

  • Providing eco-driving training to 40% of relevant employees by 2028: sales representatives, installers and drivers.

  • Developing skills through a dedicated training strategy, mentoring, coaching and peer support between company managers.

COMMITMENT: Responsible Purchasing & Local Involvement

Objective: operate as part of a responsible ecosystem alongside all of our stakeholders.

  • Responsible purchasing policy aimed at increasing our local purchasing.
  • Supplier charter for our key suppliers.
  • Involvement in local community life and active involvement in solidarity initiatives.
  • Eco Impact Incubator: training in eco-design practices and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), to develop products with a strong environmental profile.
  • Responsible communication with our stakeholders.
  • Defining a responsible purchasing policy and rolling out an internal purchasing questionnaire.

  • Creating a supplier charter to engage our key suppliers, who account for 80% of our purchasing value, in our approach.

  • Involvement in local community life (employment, partnerships, corporate sponsorship, volunteering). For example, employees take part in solidarity initiatives led by the “La Komu s’engage” business collective in the Lille metropolitan area, driven by a simple ambition: to give back on a human level.

  • Eco Impact Incubator. CEVINO GLASS is a pioneering participant in the first Eco Impact incubator programme in 2026/2027. Our team is training in eco-design practices and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) to develop products with a strong environmental profile.

  • Developing responsible communication with our stakeholders, through this Verre Demain page on the CEVINO GLASS website and through KIOSK, our internal newsletter — with plans to publish a full CSR report.
