"Verre Demain"

« Verre Demain » is the transformation strategy of the CEVINO GLASS group. It guides our development, our collective ambition and our commitments to build sustainable, responsible and high-performing growth. Corporate Social Responsibility is one of the pillars of this strategy.

Thierry Gautier, President and Founder of CEVINO GLASS, introduces Verre Demain to the group’s employees and partners.

Glass is at the heart of tomorrow’s challenges: energy-efficient renovation, thermal comfort, low-carbon construction and the circular economy. Endlessly recyclable and a carrier of light, it is a material for the future. With Verre Demain, CEVINO GLASS is setting out a comprehensive, collective and responsible strategy to support these transformations.

Our Verre Demain Strategy

OUR PURPOSE

To be the trusted partner — a passionate glass expert, attentive to every individual and to our planet — for whom performance goes hand in hand with well-being.

OUR AMBITION

Verre Demain carries a shared vision for every company in the group:

  • To be the benchmark glass processor and installer in Europe
  • To be able to offer everything through a distinctive, solution-driven approach shared by all: every client who walks through the door of a CEVINO GLASS group company leaves with A solution
  • To pursue profitable, sustainable growth
  • To become a role model in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and the employer of choice in our industry

This ambition rests on a committed, agile and well-structured team.

OUR VALUES

Simple, balanced relationships

We are committed to fostering a climate that supports everyone’s well-being and genuine, open exchange, within a trust-based ecosystem where everyone can speak freely. We value solidarity and individual responsibility in our everyday work. Every relationship is built on the same respect.

Enterprising together

We nurture autonomy, and everyone can put forward improvements or adjustments to help the collective meet the challenges of glass. Agility and a recognised right to make mistakes encourage people to take ownership, keep things moving and, in turn, deliver performance. Everyone within the Cevino Glass group takes part in our shared venture.

Operational excellence in the service of our clients

By listening closely, we offer each client a fair, tailored solution built on our technical mastery and unique expertise. True to our commitments, we deliver quality and short lead times, responsiveness and service. We invest in and maintain our equipment to the highest standards in the industry. This commitment to performance ensures a strong, lasting relationship. Our clients’ satisfaction drives our own.

Integrity at the heart of everything we do

Whenever a client consults us, we make a point of being clear and honest to build a relationship of trust over the long term. This means well-reasoned advice and a frankness that can go as far as turning a request down. This right to say no is what keeps us with integrity.

Innovation, a driver of our sustainable development

CEVINO GLASS constantly innovates, invests and carries out research to bring its clients new products and services, with particular attention to their impact on the planet. Curious by nature, we don’t hesitate to experiment in order to keep improving, and we train ourselves to live up to our ambitions and the challenges of glass.

Our CSR approach

Our Corporate Social Responsibility policy is driven by a deep-rooted commitment, shaped by our strong human culture, our day-to-day dedication and the sustainable material we work with.

We have structured this momentum across the group, led by our cross-functional CSR Steering Committee, by having:

  • collectively defined a purpose;
  • brought all our subsidiaries together around a shared ambition;
  • co-written a CSR roadmap embedded in the Verre Demain strategy.

CSR is one of the strategic pillars of Verre Demain.

3

Our CSR commitments

Our commitments and concrete actions are set out in our roadmap.

No CSR approach without a roadmap.

Our roadmap is a structured action plan that turns our commitments into operational initiatives and actions — measurable and measured over time. Our commitments stem from the sustainable development objectives of the ISO 26000 standard.

COMMITMENT: Improving our environmental performance

Objective: to reduce our carbon footprint and improve the circular economy of glass.

  • Following a 2024 carbon assessment, we are focusing our efforts on reducing, sorting and recovering 100% of our production offcuts… Turned into cullet, which is reused in the manufacture of our raw material, they improve the circularity of flat glass.
  • We save water: closed-loop circulation in our workshops…
  • We offer low-carbon, high-energy-performance glazing.

Cullet (pictured right) is glass finely crushed and cleaned so it can be reinjected as a secondary raw material into flat-glass manufacturing furnaces — the beginning of a circular economy.

  • Our 2024 carbon assessment covered 80% of the group’s scope and measured our carbon emissions across scopes 1, 2 and 3: 35,000 tonnes of CO2 equivalent, i.e. 715 kg CO2e per €1,000 of revenue.

  • 70% of our carbon emissions are linked to our raw material. This is why we are focusing our efforts on reducing production offcuts and recovering end-of-life glass.

  • 100% of our production offcuts are sorted and recovered.

  • We have entered into an agreement with a partner float-glass manufacturer to improve the circularity of flat glass → increasing the return of cullet has helped lower manufacturing carbon emissions and, in 2024, avoided 1,350 tonnes of CO2e, i.e. 4% of our emissions.

  • Our sustainable water management: water circulates in a closed loop in our glassworks (Miroiteries Dubrulle, Le Kap Verre Île-de-France, Littoral, Côte d’Opale, BMV Glass, Lukora, etc.). The group has invested significantly in installing these systems. A few figures: at Le Kap Verre Littoral, rainwater harvesting has brought water consumption down to almost zero. At Lukora, equipment to recover and treat processing water has cut the workshop’s water consumption by 60%, from 10,000 m³ to under 4,000 m³.

  • We recover end-of-life products, such as window frames and old double glazing removed by our installation teams, through our membership of Valobat.

  • Non-hazardous industrial waste is sorted, and our processes aim to minimise it as far as possible.

  • Our commercial offer is geared towards low-carbon, high-energy-performance glass (low-emissivity and/or solar-control double glazing) to improve the carbon footprint of buildings.

  • Across our sites, our actions aim to save energy: self-consumption via solar panels at Lukora and Miroiterie Paulhac, 100% LED lighting at almost all sites, smart heating-system management, and trucks running on liquefied natural gas.

COMMITMENT: Engaging employees across all companies

Objective: to build a coherent, committed and aligned group.

  • Each company has its own CSR roadmap, with the CSR Steering Committee ensuring coordination.
  • A CSR ambassadors programme has been set up with volunteer employees.
  • An annual employee survey measures staff well-being at work.
  • KIOSK, our internal newsletter, is published every two months to share group news.
  • We foster a team-group spirit, in line with our value of « enterprising together »
  • The monthly CSR Steering Committee leads and monitors the main roadmap and provides momentum.

  • Each company in the group works to its own CSR roadmap.

  • Since early 2026, volunteer CSR ambassadors have been driving the CSR approach and encouraging local initiatives. This ambassadors programme, which began with the Climate Fresk, aims to train them step by step and make their actions easier.

  • Employees have got involved in particular by filming the videos presenting the 5 values, bringing Verre Demain to life in a vivid and embodied way at each site.

  • Cross-functional trade committees created in 2025 bring together people in the same roles across different sites: Accounting & Finance / Sales / Production / Installation… These connections allow those involved to get to know one another and share their expertise and best practices to improve everyone’s performance.

  • An annual employee survey is carried out group-wide to measure staff well-being at work.

  • KIOSK, our internal newsletter, is published every two months to share news from the group and its companies (events, centenaries, achievements, etc.). A « gazette » edition now complements the current digital distribution. The companies’ LinkedIn accounts are increasingly kept up and managed by volunteer employees, glad to share.

  • We foster a team-group spirit, which adds a collective dimension to our value of « enterprising together » while respecting the specific character of each company.

  • When a new company joins the CEVINO GLASS group, an onboarding programme is put in place.

COMMITMENT: Well-being and quality of life at work

Objective: to ensure a safe, ethical working environment that enables everyone to grow.

  • Celebrating important events and anniversaries together: 100 years of Miroiterie Paulhac in late 2025, of Miroiteries Dubrulle in June 2026, 130 years of Lukora and 30 years of Le Kap Verre in late 2026.

  • Committing to an ethical charter for employees, in line with our value of integrity at the heart of everything we do.

  • Rolling out more quality-of-work-life (QWL) initiatives tailored to local realities across our subsidiaries: « nutritional » breakfasts; guidance on movement and posture with an ergonomist and/or fitness coach; social gatherings.

  • Strengthening safety prevention, risk assessment, equipment and training: workshop induction procedures (safety, guidelines, equipment); handling equipment on all our sites to make moving glass easier. With support from CARSAT, 2025 installations include: a robot and a vacuum lifter at Miroiteries Dubrulle under a prevention contract, and handling equipment at the cutting tables and machining centre at Lukora, with a subsidy.

  • In addition to personal protective equipment (gloves, helmets, cut-resistant clothing, etc.) — particularly important in our trades — we have decided, following noise-level assessments in the workshops, to gradually roll out custom-moulded individual hearing protection (Miroiterie Dubrulle, Lukora, Le Kap Verre Littoral, etc.).

  • Equipping all sites with defibrillators.

  • Extending MASE health, safety and environment certification, currently held by Le Kap Verre Dunkerque.

  • Training 40% of the employees concerned in eco-driving by 2028: sales staff, installers and drivers.

  • Developing skills through a training strategy, mentoring, coaching and peer sponsorship between company directors.

COMMITMENT: Responsible purchasing & local roots

Objective: to be part of a responsible ecosystem alongside all our stakeholders.

  • Responsible purchasing policy to improve our local sourcing
  • Supplier charter for our main suppliers
  • Involvement in local life and commitment to solidarity initiatives…
  • Eco Impact incubator: to train in eco-design and LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) practices and develop products with a strong environmental profile
  • Responsible communication with our stakeholders
  • Defining a responsible purchasing policy and rolling out an internal purchasing questionnaire to improve our local sourcing.

  • Creating a supplier charter to bring our main suppliers — who account for 80% of our purchasing value — into our approach.

  • Involvement in local life (jobs, partnerships, patronage, volunteering). Employees take part in solidarity initiatives led by the « La Komu s’engage » business collective in the Lille metropolitan area, with the simple ambition of making a human commitment.

  • Eco Impact incubator. CEVINO GLASS is a frontrunner, taking part in the first Eco Impact incubator in 2026/2027. The team is training in eco-design and LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) practices to develop products with a strong environmental profile.

  • Developing responsible communication with our stakeholders, through this VERRE DEMAIN page on the CEVINO GLASS website, through KIOSK, our internal newsletter, and with the aim of publishing a full CSR report.
